Family Foto Friday

With Christmas right around the corner, I’ve been going through pictures for a couple of special projects. (Shh, Heartland Imaging is helping me with one of those projects.) But in the meantime, I’ve been updating my Nixplay frame here at home and reliving some of my favorite past Christmas memories.
Our son and one of our nephews are only 6 weeks apart. Christmas 1991 they were both about 18 months old and couldn’t quite understand that their grandma got them the EXACT SAME presents, like the Big Bird in the pictures. It was funny then, and still funny now 27 years later to see my son crying sitting on top of a box so his cousin couldn’t have it. And what do they say about kids and cats wanting to play with bags and boxes? I don’t remember what our daughter got in that box for Christmas in 1996 when she was just two, but apparently playing in the box of packing peanuts was far more appealing!
It’s a running joke in my family that my mom’s ‘favorite’ kid is whoever she happens to be talking to at the time. So, in 2004 I found the perfect gift for my brothers and I! They are matching “Mom likes me best!” shirts.
Having your photo memories organized so you can find them is important, and being able to relive and share those memories is priceless.
t’s not just the things that make the holidays special for us, but the memories. Let Heartland Imaging and I help you preserve and display your memories. You can contact me about how to preserve your photos, negatives, and non-photographic items at lori@krauseinc.com or call Heartland Imaging KC at (816) 492-7974.
